Overview
Sustainable Ecosystem (se) takes pride in associating exclusively and designing the Waste to Wealth initiative with Saltech Design Labs Pvt Ltd.
Waste to Wealth is a vibrant example of the commitment for sustainability, displayed by both the organisations.
What is the technology behind Waste to Wealth?
Its patented, technology driven recycling processconverts post-consumer used unrecyclable plastics & industrial mineral waste into polymer composite material. This sustainable material recycled from waste, is far better in performance compared to cement concrete in precast applications such as block, brick & tiles used for pavements & roads.
What is polymer composite material (pcm) & what are its characteristics?
The polymer composite is an artificially created material that is not found as a natural resource and combines qualities uncharacteristic of other materials. The material is produced as a result of uniform mixing of the main components (aggregate and polymer) at the specified temperature regime, resulting in polymer ingestion of each filler particle.
In subsequent moulding and hardening, the aggregate mass polymer forms a homogeneous monolithic structure with high strength.
What are the raw materials used to make PCM?
Industrial waste mineral aggregate like:
- Foundry sand
- Fly Ash
- Eco- Dolomite
- M sand
- C&D waste
- Quartz Sand
- River sand
- Quarry Dust etc
Plastic Waste such as:
- PE, PP, PS
- PET, PS, PVC
- Mix MLP
- Polyester
Compatiblizer & Pigments like:
- Pigments
- Recycler compatiblizer + UV
- CO polymer
The look and feel of PCM
SE and Saltech have already launched the following products:
- Paver Block
- Paver Tile
- Floor tile
